The 1935 Auburn Phaeton was lovingly restored by the current owner and tour operator. It was purchased "new" from an Adelaide agent in August 1935 by the operator's grandfather, Mr A.L.A. Wehr. Mr Wehr was still driving the vehicle up to the early 1950's, nearly ninety years of age and blind in one eye. After his death, the vehicle was put into storage until the late 1970's when the restoration process began. Restorations to the vehicle were completed by 1999. The business began in the same year and to date many guests from all over the world have travelled in this rare automobile while savouring the delights of the unique wine region that is the "Barossa Valley".

Barossa Daimlers have two magnificent high gloss, black Majestic Major Limousines with luxurious cream leather and polished walnut interiors. These vehicles are quite rare, with only six in total, known of in Australia. These cars were originally brought to Australia in the early 1960's for Royal tours, which included HRH Queen Elizabeth and the Queen Mother. They were then used on official occasions by the Australian Government for such dignitaries as Harold Holt and former Governor Generals. Each of our cars are identical and can seat up to 8 passengers when required. The vehicles are air-conditioned. Our vehicles are fully licensed and inspected and we have full accreditation with the Passenger Transport Board.
